We've been meaning to update our t-shirt shop for quite a while now. Some changes include removing old stock and replacing them with new ones; updating the Top Sellers list (the change in seasons spell a change in shopping trends too, y'know); and, something we've never done before, giving existing designs a fresher, more up-to-date look.

So if you bought some of the old stock, consider them precious cos' they're no longer in production LOL.

So I was watching Camp Rock - yes, the Jonas Brothers - Demi Lovato starrer - with my nephew this weekend and this funny confrontation scene between Tess and Mitchie made quite an impact:

So the first episode of the new TV series 90210, remake of 90s teen drama Beverly Hills 90210, did not exactly get good press (read 9021-ewww in particular) but I would personally want to wait until the 4th or 5th episode to pass judgment on it. After all, I did occasionally enjoy watching Brenda, Kelly, Donna, Brandon and company back in the early 90s when I was about the same age as they were (eep, age reference alert).

My husband and I share a love for musicals so you can bet that we've seen the global smash hit Mamma Mia! already. The movie received very mixed reviews but the fact that it did tremendously well at the box office despite sharing an opening date with The Dark Knight should speak volumes about what it has to offer - good, clean fun; the unexpected singing voices of Meryl, Pierce, Colin, and Amanda; beautiful Greece scenery; and of course the biggest star in the film - the fabulously campy 70s music of Swedish pop sensation Abba.

Which leads me to this week's t-shirt. Part of my growing up years were spent listening to Abba's music (fine, do the math) so it was only natural that I make a fun, retro Abba-inspired design.

Having grown up in the eighties, it's only natural that a good amount of our t-shirt designs are devoted to the decade that spawned the most outlandish fashion trends in the last century.

So, being a self-touted 80s specialist, I took the liberty of compiling what I think are the 10 Excellent (like, totally) 80s Tees in the Cafepress marketplace, the common thread being that all my picks display (1) wicked wit, (2) gnarly design, and (3) enough ambiguity so that you have to truly be a fan of the decade to get what the design is about (I think any hardcore fan wants that kind of exclusivity, right?).
